I love the light, sounds, and smell of a rainforest.
The visual feast of the colours and textures of the ancient tree contrasts beautifully with the young tree nurtured within the root structure.
If you are quiet, you can here the scurry and scratching of the insects and lizards in the leaf litter. You can feel the steam rising from the earth, and you can hear the bird calls echoing around the forest. Maybe, just maybe, you will see the flicker of light on wings as the birds flit through the treetops. The dappled light flickers on their wings.
So calm, so serene, so abundant with life.
